Fit To Be Tied: Race for Amyloidosis

You may have seen the article in the Syracuse Post Standard about a run/walk named Fit To Be Tied. The race was developed to honor Bob Palmer, who was Brian Luton’s Father-in-Law. Brian’s wife Megan has organized this event as a benefit to help find a cure for the disease that claimed her dad’s life, Amyloidosis.

Where and When is the Race?

  • May 22, 2016
  • 5K run, starting at 9 AM
  • 3K walk, starting at 9:15 AM
  • Location: Willow Bay area of Onondaga Lake Park, Sawmill Pavillion
  • Packet pickup is from 7:30am-8:45am at the Sawmill Pavilion in Willow Bay, Onondaga Lake Park
  • Race and Walk limited to 300 total participants
